We have been asked how to put a business logo onto a community puzzle. One fast way is to adhere a vinyl sticker to the assembled puzzle.
You can have vinyl logo stickers made at most sign shops. You can take them a clean copy of your logo and they can trace it into the computer and it will cut it out in vinyl. They will then weed it and apply a transfer tape to the top.
Once you have that you can apply it to an assembled puzzle in whatever location you want it.
Peel the backing off of the vinyl sticker.
Then, place your vinyl sticker onto the area of the community puzzle you want the sticker to be adhered to.
Next take a plastic squeegee (or a hard plastic ruler) to evenly rub from one edge of the sticker to the other, with enough pressure to make sure the sticker will adhere to the puzzles pieces when you take the transfer paper off.
Carefully peel the transfer paper off of the puzzle making sure to leave the vinyl sticker on the puzzle pieces.
Use an Exacto knife to cut the vinyl when it crosses over a puzzle joint.
The Finished puzzle section can now be taken apart and put together as desired.
Note: When handing out the center (inside) puzzle pieces to your group, make sure that each piece is at an identical angle. We recommend that the center pieces have the nibs up and to the right. That way all the pieces will aim in the same direction and there will not be upside down pieces when the puzzle is assembled.
