We found that adding a little glitter to the border of a community puzzle makes the center pieces really stand out!
For this project you will need:
Remember that spray paints and adhesives dry faster in warmer environments. Please follow the instructions on the spray can to ensure success. Note: This project needs to be done in a well-ventilated area due to the fumes that spray
Using a silver spray paint as a glue for the glitter to be sprinkled onto, I sprayed the border pieces in sections and immediately added glitter to the paint as it was drying.
If your spray paint dries too quickly for the glitter to stick to, try a spray adhesive or brush on
You want to work quickly as the spray paint can dry too quickly for you to get the glitter to stick to the paint.
To assist in spreading and adhering the glitter to the silver spray
The finished border is spectacular!
Now the pieces can be worked on by a group of people; as in team building seminars, birthday parties, weddings, family reunions, or any other type of gathering.
When handing out the center (inside) puzzle pieces of your community puzzle to your group make sure that each piece is at an identical angle. We recommend that the inner pieces aim up and to the right, that way all the pieces will aim in the same direction and not get twisted when the puzzle is assembled.
